North American Safety Regulations

Welcome to the PMA safety website. While imaging labs are considered to be low hazard workplaces, there are several regulations that govern our industry. On this website, we provide you with information about the regulations that apply to most imaging labs.

There are separate websites for the US and for Canada:

• The US website contains individual modules, each with a brief discussion of the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and a compliance checklist. Click on any topic of interest to download the file.
  
• For Canada, health and safety information is provided by province. Click on the province, then choose the specific topic you wish to review. You can print any screen in the website.
